Some years ago, when I was really struggling in personal relationships, I found myself grasping at every possible opportunity to be with Him–daily Mass, Eucharist, and Adoration, whenever possible. Suddenly, I had the peace “that only He can give.” It took total surrender, and some desperation, to realize that Jesus was indeed my Beloved. I had to have complete trust in His power and love to experience this conversion of heart and mind.
