Friday August 17th | A Flavor of Port Huron
The weekend will start at 1:00 pm with an opening Mass celebrated by Fr. Mario at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Parish in Farmington, Michigan. After Mass, depart for Port Huron and check into your hotel, overlooking the St. Clair River and Blue Water Bridge. Enjoy an afternoon of leisure to either walk along the boardwalk as boats and freighters pass, take a self-guided tour of the Port Huron Thomas Edison Depot*, experience a guided tour of the famous Huron Lightship*, or simply grab a cocktail on the outdoor bar and patio.
For the evening presentations, the men & women will be separated. Women will hear Teresa Tomeo of Ave Maria Radio & Kelly Wahlquist of WINE (Women In The New Evangelization) share Why the Church Needs WINE 24-7; while the men learn how to Unleash your Masculine Genius as Fr. Mario Amore & Dcn. Dom Pastore break down Archbishop Vigneron’s pastoral letter. Afterwards, everyone will come together for a Welcome Dinner.

Saturday August 18th | The Theology of Wine
After breakfast at the hotel, explore the Great Lakes Maritime Center and the weekly Farmers Market before departing for 3 North Vines Winery in Lexington. Upon arrival, participate in the Annual Blessing of the Vines with the owners of the vineyard. Then, cherish free time to explore downtown Lexington and have lunch on your own.
This afternoon, enjoy a wine-tasting seminar The Theology of Wine featuring Dr. Liz Lev & Dr. Thomas D. Williams (Italian sommeliers & art historians/ theologians) and Steve & Connie Currie (local wine-makers).
Celebrate a closing vigil Mass in Port Huron before returning to Farmington Hills.
