When Women Pray: Eleven Catholic Women on the Power of Prayer

My mind can be so cluttered with competing thoughts.  The moments right before, during, and just after receiving Communion should be sacred moments but are often the most difficult times for me to rein in my thoughts.  When I do remember to ask for the grace to remain present with Jesus in the Eucharist the blessings are abundant.

Do you have a special prayer you say before, during, or after Communion?

What is something you do to keep present for receiving the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist?

Please share your thoughts in the comment section below.
