Day 11, My morning time in my green prayer chair, reading reflections, Lenten booklet, WINE Lent, Best Lent Every (Dynamic Catholic), Scripture writing, God writing in journal, and being still. At times I have abandoned Jesus because of hectic schedule (not my norm), and recognizing his forgiveness of my imperfections. I cherish our morning time. Takes a couple of hours but time well spent.
Oh Judy, your morning prayer time, excuse the expression, sounds heavenly!
I feel so bad, it seems life has been getting in the way of my devotional time. Two days spent with my dad in hospital has took me away from my routine and my time with God. But I do feel His calming presence.
I have a saying, “You can’t fail at Lent, sometimes LIFE Is Lent” Vickie Sounds like that has been your week. Prayers for your father; and a renewed opportunity in the week to come for devotional time!
