Will our good works get us into heaven? Is this even the right question? Perhaps we should be asking how we might offer thanks to God, our beautiful Savior. Every time we reach out to those in need or console a hurting friend, we are saying: “Lord, I appreciate all that you have done for me.” We are modeling the love of Jesus and acknowledging the Christ who died, rose, and will come again. During these weeks of Lent, consider the grace that has saved you. Try offering your thanks to the Lord in a work of goodness and faith.
